7th Time is for sure a charm! With the Lopes family who have become dear friends, the fabulous hunting is actual only a small part of the experience! The 5 star setup has everything a hunter could ask for. In all of my trips to Africa this is surely my most enjoyable. Can't wait to return!
Hands down this was the most enjoyable trip yet. The attention to the smallest details made this Hunt the most memorable and satisfying. Jeff and I both enjoyed the personal aspects of the family experience offered by the Lopes family. We were welcomed into their home and treated like favourite relatives. In all my travels I have not ever visited such a wonderful place. Dik Dik is a very rare find, a bit of heaven. A very special family with "Gods" presents truly felt here. Dik Dik offers a very special adventure and once leaves with much more than what they came with. Its a place that deserves returning to many many times. Attention to detail makes this hunt the best I have had in the last 23years of African Safaris. Plentiful game, excellent hides and knowledgable guilds makes this a wonderful experience. Hope to do this again and will recommend to all my friends.
This has been the best hunting trip of my life! Its my first bow hunt that I have taken home animals. I came here in hope to get one animal, and am leaving with a warthog, gemsbok, and kudu!! Fernando, Marie, Julio and Dollie - a huge thank you for the time and attention that you give to others to make this a top notch place. The accommodations, food care of the land, animals and trophies couldn't be better!! Julio- you are a wonderful teacher! Best of luck to all of you in the hunting business. Thanks to Bill Dallis I was able to spend two great weeks with Julio and the Family and Video tape some amazing animals and the " Ultimate shot" more than once. If my luck holds out, Bill, Chris and I will be back. But Next time Julio try keep the animals on schedule. According to me, This was the best trip to Africa -ever.

I don't know where to start what a place!! The family is Amazing!! what a awesome family even Grandpa! The hunting over the top. My fist bow kill ever. The food the lodge the hunting the everything! Its very hard to leave what a wonderful place. Until we come back leave I leave my love to the lopes family
My second trip to Damara Dik Dik Safaris, this is truly a magical place. Will I make it back? I don't know, but a part of me will never leave. My hope is to see you all again, whether here or in the States, so Keep in touch. Thanks!!
This is my third trip to Damara Dik-Dik. I agree with all the comments of my Friend John. Additionally and most importantly to me when you come to dik dik as a client you leave feeling like a family member of the family. The lopes family and staff do everything possible to make your experience a once in a lifetime adventure.
